A tattoo is a real and permanent decision you make that affects you for the rest of your life.
Every decision we make sets us on a path of self-discovery... Small or not, visible or not, every choice we make has an outcome in our life... In Physics we know this as Newton's Third Law of Motion "for every action in nature, there is an equal and opposite reaction".
Like tattoos, our decisions are often seen as misguided or controversial in the eyes of others.
The truth... Sold to us as a subjective story... so, we all cling to different areas of it without accepting it fully...
It was Pontius Pilate that first asked "What is Truth?"... Yet this is a debate we know wholly…
In short... The truth is a man that we all know well... But, he's fed to us like a fictional story with no connection to our history... The Bible presented as flimsy words built on a little bit of whimsy... It's like we've forgotten the very voice inside of you and me... Jesus died on the cross to set us free... He gave us direct contact in a place we couldn't see... In a place where it’s imperative for you to just have faith and believe...
It's a war on the inside... It's a battlefield of the mind... The Thoughts are the ammo that consistently fly by... The pain is unbearable.. Exponentially still... When a bullet lands in your open wounds... It's hard to know where to go or what to do...
Now we're starting to get to why Jesus died for me and for you...
He died so that we could always turn to him to guide the way.. A moral compass placed on our hearts rooted in truth; it can never change...
So, lay low and watch the bullets fly... Don't react... Don't give up your time... You will shortly find the ammo was always a trick in disguise... An illusion of the mind you kept to survive... Tying you to a war that died long before you were alive...
Jesus died to grant us Grace and Mercy... What an incredible gift it can be... But, watch closely because if not you'll be lost in Greed... What is meant to be freed will swallow you with glee... Can you so freely give what you receive?
GOD is incredibly diverse... more diverse than the world of our understanding... Let's choose peace over victory... Let's learn to admire each other's journeys...
